Infuse Weapon is a POE2 Currency passive skill, meaning it functions automatically once its conditions are met. It is not a skill gem and cannot be assigned to an action bar, nor can it be used by other classes. Only Huntresses who have chosen the Amazon Ascension can use this effect.



How Elemental Infusion and Infuse Weapon Work Together

To understand how Infuse Weapon functions, it’s essential to look at its source: the Elemental Infusion passive node. The node works by converting consumed charges into temporary elemental infusions:



Expending an Energy Charge grants 2 Cold Infusions



Expending an Endurance Charge grants 2 Fire Infusions



Expending a Fury Charge grants 2 Lightning Infusions



Once your weapon has one or more of these elemental infusions, Infuse Weapon becomes active. The passive skill reads:



Imbues your weapon with enchantment. Making non-melee projectile attacks with this weapon consumes the infusion to infuse the fired projectile, causing it to explode at the end of buy Path of Exile 2 Currency its flight.
